I am so, so sorry. My entire Plesk broke when I upgraded to the next Ubuntu LTS, as it was required because otherwise system OS updates would stop, and that would mean no more security fixes, so I had to upgrade it, which required pretty much reinstalling Plesk (my web control panel).

Everything should be good now with no data loss and should be stable from here on out.

I am financially well off and do not see any issue with this website being abandoned or going offline. Don't worry about that.

Hi I'm new here, but not new to Niklas and Friends. I've been a fan of Niklas and Friends since 2003 or 2004. It's one of the first webcomics I ever read and viewed. I'm glad that Niklas and Friends has been preserved. I like the fact there's a forum nowadays. I don't think there was a forum back in the early days. I do remember the IRC chatroom. Anyone remember that? It was on the defunct IRC network Nevernet. I was very disappointed when that IRC network stopped. I made a few good friends on there and I sadly lost in touch with them over time. My username was "mick666", if my memory serves me correctly.

I always wanted to check out the final Niklas and Friends comic. In fact, I was very close to buying the actual physical book years ago. Now it's out of print and used copies are no longer for sale. I did find out it's in a couple of libraries, but they're too far away from me. One of copies is found out a university library in Chicago or somewhere around that vicinity.

I have a FULL backup of Niklas.de!

Of course our admins (past and present) have it too, but well, I can gloat over it 😀

I was trying to remember the name of the initial Website, then I seemed to remember having it around in some form. I popped two "archive" external storage devices, and there it was! Some day I used a "site-sucker" app on it 🤗

Several parts are still not in the new Website, notably the "School" folder and the "Return" folder. This one has several feedback from fans, notably "Oreo" who had written back a number of nice articles.

I thought the Niklas comics were abandoned years ago, and it's so cool to see them back and some of them restored to look so good!

Are you going to be expanding on the comics and making new stories?

Schoolmates Imported

I finished importing all the schoolmates from niklascomics.de. Even though these have ceased, I thought the art should still be reserved.

I started grammar and spellchecking these, but then wondered if I should? Some might like the charm as an actual boy wrote them, and I'm not sure if they're written by Niklas, the author, or the commissioner.

Should I go through and fix them and leave them as is? Also, how do you like the design?
