I have been blocked since LONG with the next parts, which involve a TRICKY landscape, something I can't generate with 3D. Now, I am testing AI-generated backgrounds, and may come with something useful.
The story itself is written to its real end, and I even have a few 3D renders for the following chapters. So stay tuned!
AI-generator test.
Well… after intensive googling, I found a good app allowing LOTS of freedom about AI-generating pics.
First tests were done on simple matters, Lyel being the guinea-pig.
Now trying it for the intended purpose.

The Entity Chapter 06-10-4
BACK AT IT! … somewhat
Just an extra illustration, showing the full 3D work under XNALara. Then the artist would draw the boys based on the 3D render, and eventually I'd assemble it all with PhotoShop, add the lines, etc.

Jahv began to sort it all out, shouting orders to his aids: "Put this by that green thing with three arms," "bring me back that cord" and so on, until he began to plug wires around. Keyro helped him, and Arion was flying around the building, looking for potentially useful elements.
The Entity Chapter 06-11-1
Arion was flying around the building for potentially additional elements.
Keyro turned to the Earthlings and waved his head: "Get back now, you can't really help us any longer."
Niklas nodded, and began to tour the place, looking at the devices exposed.
Soon the wires began to spread all over the place, to the amazement of Martin: "Hey, they spread as if alive!"
« They are, in some way," commented Jahv, which had Keith jumping two yards back away of the fast-growing network of wires.
Stalled for now (June 2025) I still intend to finish it, but currently I have lots of other concerns 😣

Why the recommissions?
I don't understand what you are referring to… The boys I posed with XNALara (which also made the backgrounds). Then I commissioned an artist to redraw the boys, and later added them to the XNALara background, rendered without the 3D boys of course.
The last two pics (06-10-4 and 06-11-11) the artist had done with any reference, so I had to tweak the background and the pics to match. Still have a few of these but they are tricky to fit, and may have to redo it with the usual process: XNALara boys&background, boys redrawn then integrated with the background.

The Entity Chapter 06-12
Niklas had stopped in front of what looked like a bird's view of the campus. It was surprisingly real, as if shot by a flying camera, but was also showing some transparency in the buildings, and even the ground. He turned to Jahv for explanations, but the young Botaran was busy with much more urgent concerns, and Niklas looked to the Prince. Arion caught his interrogative look, and flew to his friend. "What is this?" asked Niklas? "A webcam? And isn't there the Entity showing?".
Arion considered the device, which was framed as a painting, and had some explanatory writings -unreadable to Niklas. He touched some parts of the view, and it zoomed in. "Interesting. A sophisticated version of Jahv's scanner. The caption says it summarizes various captors, sensors, technologies, and theories to build a 3D-view of the local geological structure. As for the Entity, which is indeed that red spot with the readings by it, it can be seen thanks to the gravitational sensors included within the range of technologies used."
"Well, at least we can see where it is," concluded Niklas.
The Entity Chapter 07-01
Chapter 7 “Out of the pot...”
Jahv manages to build something then tests it on the Entity.
« If it uses any sort of anti-gravitons means, I should be able to disturb it ».
Jahv makes several adjustments, looking at Niklas and Arion who are monitoring the 3D-display: « Do you see some effect? ».
Niklas waves his head, but Arion points the figures changing on the display:
"It seems to slower..."
Jahv turns a dial and Arion reports:
"No! It accelerates again."
Jahv turns back the dial to its previous position, then tweaks another setting.
This time, even Niklas can see it:
« It is flying now! Turn it the other way, quick!».
Jahv makes some hasty adjustments, and eventually Arion notes:
"Better... much better! The Entity seems to slow down. Go on!"
The Entity Chapter 07-02
But Jahv waves his head:
« I can't go more on this setting, but this seems to be the ticket. Keyro, bring me that purple outphaser there, will you?».
The young alien jumps across the room and brings back an odd contraption, with various shapes protruding around. He asks:
« Where do you want it? ».
Jahv points a relatively less crowded place of his assembly:
« There, between the gravitational decompressor and the zzzhhzhtzprrrfrt.»
Martin whispers to Keith:
« The what??? »
Keith waves his head:
« I did not get it... guess Jahv used his own language. Not that I understand what is a gravitational decompressor, neither.»
The Entity Chapter 07-03
Jahv makes some hasty connections, then cautiously moves a switch, and slowly, tongue out, turns an extra knob. Sweat forms on his brow while Keyro's eyes grow wider. The other boys feel the tension, and Martin and Keith cautiously walk away, when they had just come closer to check the new addition.
The Entity Chapter 07-04
Jahv has a look at Arion, who replies in a whisper:
"Still drifting towards us, but altitude getting lower."
Jahv falters, biting his lower lip, then shrugs his shoulders and turns the knob a bit more. A faint hum begins to rise from his apparatus, which issues an odd radiance. The boys begin to feel some heat on their brows. Keyro notes:
« You can't go much farther... »
