The Entity Chapter 03-03

Keith considered the result and pouted "Isn't it a bit… figure-hugging, so to speak?"
"Looks fine to me," replied Keyro.
"You sure this is enough?" added Niklas.
"Well, it covers the… official standards," replied Lyel.
"Anyway, the place is close to the equator, and somewhat hotter than here. You will be happy to wear nothing more."
"What about our boots?" asked Niklas, "aren't they to be too hot"?
"No need to worry," replied Jahv, "they are conditioned."
"How are we gonna get there?" wondered Martin. "Won't it take the whole day?"
"No, little friend. I am going to send you there"
Keith grumbled: "Hrumpf! Some teleporter of yours?"
"No. Just magic," replied Lyel with a wink.
"Magic!!" -an overall scream "We are doomed!" moaned Keith.
"Don't worry, my magic is no technology. Psi powers, remember? They never fail"
"Do tell! And how are we going back?" countered Keith.
"Don't worry," cut Jahv. "We have the teleports, and can beam back home directly".
"So we may not see you again?" asked a sorry Morik.
Lyel smiled at him: "Who knows. It happens we come back to Earth. Or I could visit your dreams."
"You can do that?" said a startled Keyro.
"Anyone can do this, with some practice. At any rate, see you later, sweet friends."
And he closed to kiss them all, beginning with Morik, and ending with Prince Arion, who wasn't that happy with the familiarity, but couldn't resist the truth and friendship he saw in the purple eyes.

They had landed in a remote place, behind a veil of plants, and Keith cautiously probed the ground under his boots: all looked steady.
"Wow!" was Martin's comments. "Was just as zapping on the TV!"
"Nice," agreed Niklas.
"Niiice," commented Morik with a dreamy look, gently grazing the point on his cheek where Lyel had kissed him. His voice was that strange all the others turned to look at him. He did not notice, and just repeated: "Nice...". The he startled and began again his skin color shift.
Niklas giggled: "Looks like our friend has a crush for the little elf."
"Guess he likes it with pointy ears," teased Martin.
"I agree they are both assorted and contrasted," noted Prince Arion, for once intervening is such kind of discussion, and referring to the skin tones.
"That's a good thing for you, Morik," said Jahv seriously. "He looks a very decent guy."
Morik swallowed uneasily then sighed "I hope he'll visit once us once in a while. Well, let us go with those courses, if you won't mind."
"Right," agreed Jahv.
They cautiously walked out of their hide, and found themselves in a very wide campus. Walking around, they weren't long before finding someone to ask for directions.
The Earthlings were again bewildered by the amount of different species going to and fro. They weren't that pleased with all the girls, but eased when noticing none seemed to pay attention to them after the first look.

It needed a sound hour to find where to get courses for Dorrians and other needed information. Then a trouble occurred: none was free!
"We could trade some for the encephalo-educator, but there won't be none other to fit Morik," said Jahv.
"Can't you get something out of your backpack?" asked Keith. "Just as you did with Karak?"
"Dunno..." replied Jahv, removing his backpack and opening it.
"What's your trouble?" asked Martin to Morik, who was scratching under his clothing. "Don't pull it too hard, we don't know how sound it is."
"Something inside down there. I did not notice it a first." replied Morik rummaging through his garment, as if pursuing something.

"What's the trouble?" asked Martin to Morik, who was scratching under his clothing. "Don't pull it too hard, we don't know how sound it is."
"Something inside down there. I did not notice it a first." replied Morik rummaging through his garment, as if pursuing something.
Keith turned green and dropped his hands to his own waist "Has it legs or tentacles?"
"No, it does not move, just keeps slipping off my fingers."
Eventually Morik pulled away the bottom of his suit, and a roll of metal, the size of a match, dropped on the floor.
"Wazzis?" asked Martin.
Morik had picked up the thing, and was unrolling it, revealing engraved drawings, with holograms and other various attributes.
"Credits," notified Arion.
"Definitely credits," confirmed Jahv. "Told you Lyel was a decent guy."
"And somewhat on the joking side," winked Niklas. "This was a funny place to drop some bucks!"
"Well, those garments have no pockets, so..." noted a practical Keyro.

Soon everything was paid, and Jahv got both the courses for Morik and the technical info to adapt his own.
The boys seek their way out as Jahv was checking his portable computer for securing the information.
Then Niklas noted: "Hi Jahv, is there a rabbit in your backpack or is it just happy with all the girlies around?"
"What do you mean?" asked a totally baffled Jahv.
"Never mind, look at your backpack, something is jumping in there!"
"Oh yes. What is going on there?"
"Just what I asked".
"Let me see... That's my scanner. What could trigger the physical alert level? Gravitational alert!!! What the heck?"
"More troubles ahead?" stepped an eager Keith.

Background built in Poser, after converting the XNALara stuff to .obj. Which meant POSING the characters with XNALara, then exporting them as .obj to import in Poser. Extremely tedious process. Now I am doing it all inside XNALara… but the render isn't as good.
You certainly will recognize most of the "aliens" 😆

"Don't know... let me see the readings… Vrekt! This is odd. Something heavy just popped in the neighborhood."
"Heavy?" "Popped?"
"Yeah... Exactly 15.56 farths ago, 145°27, half a fathom."
"What's it?"
"Not a clue".
"You said heavy?"
"Yes, enough to distort the local continuum. The thing is no larger than Karak, but weights like a mountain".
"And it is here around?"
"Yes, within the building"
"How can this be?"
"Possibly an experiment?"
"Possible. Anyway, we shall soon know, it is by our way out."

Chapter 5 “Love is mightier than gravity”
Walking through a gateway, they entered a notably older building. It was all made of stone, with several large rooms, separated with stairs.
The boys had merely entered the first hall and climbed the first flight of stairs when they noticed something odd. Part of the boy-pupils around (whatever species) were hesitating, as if unsure of where to go. Others were walking hastily towards the other end of the hall, while some were coming from that end, with a concerned or frightened look. Most girl-pupils were leaving with reproving looks.
"More troubles ahead?" asked an eager Keith to Jahv.
"Don't know... let me see the readings… Now. This is odd. Something heavy just popped in the neighborhood."

Background and aliens fully redone with XNALaraXPS. The previous buiding was almost exactly what was intended, as I had built it from scratch, but Poser was barfing on it… Importing it into XNALara proved a chore too, so eventually I was back to a 'native' model. As a bonus, using XNALara allowed to add whatever models and pose them directly, if not easily.
Jahv and Keith redrawn with a look better suited to the story..

Had to work good on it… the perspective of the drawing wasn't all fitting.
Also worked on the shadows. Better from this side, with the light in the
camera's back. From the other side, there is a visible gap between the
feet and the beginning of the shadow…

The end of the hall and the beginning of the stairs showed a number of girls of various species, and they were dancing slowly and/or singing in what seemed a dim sunlight coming from behind the right corner of the hall.

Arion flew over the heads of his friends, and landed two paces ahead, lifting his left hand.
"Stop! This is not normal."
Looking aside Niklas' shoulder, Martin gasped and blushed: "Hey, shouldn't they be wearing at least some garment?
"Indeed," replied Keyro. "And why are they behaving like this?"
"They are all remarkably handsome," noted Jahv, but the two Botarans..."
"What about them?" asked Arion.
"They should not behave like this. And they should not look like this. They look too... overgrown for their age." added
Jahv.

The boys remained still and silent a few seconds, then Morik asked:
"Why are they calling us?"
"Calling us?" Keith was puzzled.
"You are right!" said Prince Arion. "They are calling us. What..."
